What is AkashTeer?

AkashTeer is not a single drone or a missile, rather it is sophisticated and integration of networked defense cloud integrating satellite, stealth drone swarms, ground Radar Units, highly mobile Command center. Some of the key components are-
• ISRO’s Earth Observation Satellites like CartoSat and RISAT, which helps in real time satellite surveillance by providing continuous terrain mapping and dynamic targetting. This ensures near zero latency, and independent access to data.
• NAVIC GPS, which is indigenous to India, provides superior results compared to US GPS in the difficult terrains of South Asia enabling precise targeting.
• Stealth and lightweight drone swarms (Skystriker drones by Adani), each having 5-10kg payload capacity. These are highly intelligent drone swarm units (jammers, recon units, munitions) capable of operating autonomously.
• Highly mobile Command Center, which can fitted in the back of a Jeep enabling stealth and avoid detection.
